Skander Sassi

Skander Sassi, a 31-year-old Tunisian citizen from the Kasserine region, holds a disability card and receives treatment at Razi Hospital. He was committed to Kasserine Civil Prison in connection with a criminal case, and later transferred to Sidi Bouzid Civil Prison.
During one of his family’s visits, they discovered that he had been punished by being placed in solitary confinement (the “silloun”) without any explanation or justification being given for this measure.
